We are delighted to be able to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection.

Under the new Ofsted framework, schools no longer receive a single overall one-word judgement. Instead, inspectors evaluate a number of key areas in detail. We are incredibly proud that our report contains a mixture of strong and secure gradings across these areas. This represents a very strong report and is a true reflection of how well our school serves its children, families and the wider community.

This is an achievement not just for the school, but for our whole community. We are a school at the heart of our local area and this report recognises the care, ambition and shared commitment that exists between home, school and parish. It reflects what we see every day, families who value education, children who are proud to belong to their school, and staff who go above and beyond to provide the very best opportunities for every pupil.

We are particularly pleased that this report mirrors the outcome of our recent Section 48 inspection, which focused on Religious Education, Collective Worship and Catholic Life. In that inspection the school achieved the highest possible gradings in all nine areas. Together, these two reports affirm both the academic strength of the school and the central importance of our mission and faith life in shaping the experiences of our children.

One of the most significant highlights is the grading for attendance and behaviour, which is particularly rare to achieve at this level. This shows how much our children want to be in school and how successfully we work together to remove barriers for families who may need support. It is a powerful recognition of the inclusive nature of our school and our determination that every child is welcomed, valued and able to achieve.

The strong judgement for behaviour is also a direct reflection of our Catholic Social Teaching. It highlights the authentic relationships that exist across our school, built on Gospel values, mutual respect and love. Our children show care for one another, a deep sense of responsibility, and a genuine commitment to learning. This does not happen by chance, it is the result of the daily dedication of our staff, who model these values and create a calm, purposeful and nurturing environment in which all can flourish.

The report also celebrates the exceptional progress our pupils make, including those who begin their journey with us facing significant challenges or multiple barriers. That our children achieve so highly is something our whole community can be proud of.

This outcome belongs to all of us.
Thank you to our families for your trust, encouragement and partnership, and for the vital role you play in your children’s education. Thank you to our governing body, who give their time voluntarily and work tirelessly behind the scenes to support and challenge the school; their commitment to our mission and strategic direction is invaluable.

A very special thank you goes to our staff for their unwavering dedication, professionalism and care, particularly in an increasingly challenging educational landscape. Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful children, who live out our values every day and make our school such a joyful and inspiring place to be.

We hope you enjoy reading the report and celebrating this wonderful achievement with us. It is something our entire community can be truly proud of.

With warmest thanks,

Senior Leadership team
