Operation Encompass
Our school is part of the Operation Encompass partnership. Operation Encompass is a police and education early information sharing partnership enabling immediate support to children who have experienced domestic abuse. Our designated safeguarding lead will be notified about ALL police-attended incidents of domestic abuse before the start of the next school day. This allows the education setting to offer timely support the the child victims. Operation Encompass has been placed on a statutory footing and is established in all police forces in England and Wales. Operation Encompass includes ALL educational settings.
