Census Days
The census is a survey that happens every 10 years and gives us a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales. This helps to plan and fund public services in your area.
The census took place on Sunday 21 March 2021.
We took part in the ‘Let’s Count!’ programme to teach children all about the census. Each class decided to count something that was important to them. This included books in the classroom, different ways of travelling to school, favourite fruit eaten at snack time. The children then displayed their results in different ways.
